Convert JPG and PNG images to PDF

Image to PDF is useful when an application needs scans or photos as a document. Utilix places each selected image on its own page and fits it to the page.

  1. Select one or more images. Use the arrows in the file list to set page order.
  2. Choose the page size, orientation, margins, and image-quality setting.
  3. Select Create PDF and download your document.

Image quality and PDF size

Images are placed on the selected page size and converted to JPEG for the PDF. The Smaller file setting caps image resolution at 1,600 pixels, then reduces quality or resolution further when needed to keep each embedded image close to its source file size. Balanced and Higher detail preserve more detail but can create larger files. The result shows source and PDF sizes so you can check the difference before submitting.

Frequently asked questions

Which image formats are supported?

JPG, PNG, and WebP are supported, depending on your browser. Images are embedded as JPEGs in the PDF.

Can I put multiple images in one PDF?

Yes. Each selected image becomes a separate PDF page. Use the arrows beside the file names to change page order.

How do I keep the PDF file size down?

PDFs include page structure and can be larger than the source images. Choose Smaller file to reduce image resolution, or use Balanced/Higher detail when readability matters more. All image processing happens in your browser; files are not uploaded to the Utilix server.
