Change image dimensions in pixels

Online forms often specify exact pixel dimensions. Enter a width and height; when the aspect ratio is locked, changing either dimension updates the other automatically. The image is resized with the browser Canvas API.

  1. Select a JPG, PNG, or WebP image.
  2. Enter the target width and height in pixels.
  3. Keep the ratio locked and adjust either dimension, or turn it off to set both values independently.
  4. Review the preview and download the resized image.

Avoid stretching

Locking the aspect ratio preserves the image shape. Presets use a center crop; Fit inside may add white space, while Stretch may distort the image. Match the dimensions to the official instructions.

Frequently asked questions

Are pixel dimensions and file size the same?

No. Pixels describe image dimensions; KB and MB describe storage size. Format and quality also affect file size.

Can I crop an image?

Yes. Choose center crop in the Fit mode menu. Fit inside may add white space, while Stretch may change proportions.

Can I set the print size?

Print size depends on pixel dimensions and DPI. This page changes pixels but does not set DPI metadata.
